Watering Can Bird & Morning Glories Window #55
This window has been painted with a scene of morning glory flowers on a vine with an antique, watering can. There is also a bird sitting on the ledge and a fun, faux (tromphe l'oille) crack has been painted onto the glass.The frame is very old and unusual. It has the old, original, wavy glass along with the original hardware. Because of the age and condition of this great old, wavy glass, I did not replace it with mirror and simply did the painting directly on the glass. Please keep in mind that whereever this window painting would be hung, the background would show through the glass. The size of this charming window is 22" x 22". It is indeed one-of-a-kind.
